MION will bring you a special academy that can only be found at stores with “Independent Repairman” staff!

The Academy is a new series of full-size guitars developed by Taylor that are beginner-friendly and practical, in order to prevent beginners from giving up on the guitar midway through.

This ``Academy 12 Special Edition by MION'' is a custom made by our ``Independent Repairman'' who has received official certification from the manufacturer.The ``Academy 12'', which was not originally an electric/acoustic specification, is equipped with the latest pickup ``HiFi'' (39,600 yen including tax) by ``L.R.Baggs'', and the pickguard has been changed to a tortoiseshell pattern and brown color type.

This "HiFi" is completely different from the sound of conventional contact pickups, and when combined with a dedicated high-performance preamplifier, it produces one of the most natural sounds in L.R.Baggs.This is an upgrade from the "The Expression System Baby (ES-B)" pickup originally installed in the electric-acoustic model "12e."

"Academy 12" uses a "GC (Grand Concert)" shape.The most compact body size among Taylor's standard body shapes.The most important feature is the armrest/armrest, which is designed to provide comfortable playing comfort, reducing stress when holding the guitar.
It has a shorter scale (string length) of 24-7/8 inches (631.8 mm) than a typical dread note, making it easy for beginners to hold the strings.

Although it is an inexpensive model, it uses the same joint system as higher-end models, so it has high reproducibility of raw sound, and by installing a lightweight pickup like "HiFi", you can feel the raw sound no matter what environment you play.

Although this is a brand new guitar, rather than selling it as is from the manufacturer, our independent repair man has fine-tuned and set up the string height, overall sound, angle, etc., making it a custom guitar that is easy to get used to even for those who are playing acoustic instruments for the first time.

In addition to the Academy's unique playability, it has a professional sound quality that can compete with the 300 series, and I was very surprised by the natural and beautiful tone that you wouldn't expect from an electric acoustic guitar.
My honest impression after playing it is that it is the best choice for electric acoustic guitars priced under 150,000 yen.This is a high-level product that can be used immediately from the moment it is delivered to the customer.
