For 80 years since its release in 1942, the Gibson "J-45" has continued to support players around the world. It is the signature model of Gibson Acoustics, loved across time.

This time we have the classic "J-45" Vintage Sunburst color in stock! This is a 2002 model.

The J-45 from this era features Kluson tuners and employs a standard non-adjustable bridge. The jack is configured as an electro-acoustic setup with no preamp, so the soundhole is left empty. We believe this is a consideration to make it easier to install your preferred pickup system later.

While inheriting the lineage of vintage instruments, it also incorporates modern stability and precision, resulting in an easy-to-play, high-quality sound. The tone is somewhat delicate and clear. This is ideal for those seeking pure acoustic sound.

Our shop has performed nut replacement and fret dressing, so the playing condition is excellent. String height is also standard.

Gibson Acoustics from the 2000s have a different sound character compared to current models. We believe this is largely due to approximately 25 years of aging, and this instrument produces a wonderful tone. The J-45 sound loved by many artists is a privilege that can only be obtained from a J-45.
