Fender American Elite Telecaster Thinline Natural 2017

Fender's "American Elite" series is a 2016 renewal of the "American Deluxe" series, which had long been the flagship of the regular lineup. As the pinnacle of modern style, it has gained high popularity as the most powerful instrument pursuing playability and functionality.

This time, we have received a 2017 "American Elite Telecaster Thinline" in stock. Natural color, weight is 2.64kg.

Semi-hollow Ash body adopts a structure, fusing the wide range of tones distinctive to thinline models with cutting-edge technology and traditional style.
The 4th generation Fender Noiseless Pickups are voiced to match each position, delivering Fender's powerful tone. Equipped with a push-type Fender original "S-1" switch on top of the volume knob. Engaging this switch enables complex pickup combinations not obtainable with normal wiring (such as all 3 pickups ON).

The neck shape adopts a compound back radius that varies in shape from low to high positions. The low position side near the headstock is U-shaped, transitioning to D-shape toward the end. Enhanced playability through satin finish smooth texture, medium jumbo frets, and "asymmetrical neck heel."

Hardware features user-friendly design including locking tuners with all 6 short pegs, newly designed string guides, volume pots with light torque and rubber anti-slip control knobs.

This is an outstanding modern sound that carries on the American Deluxe lineage. Above all, at 2.64kg it's wonderfully light. It's less fatiguing to play standing, offers ease of transport, and the shoulder burden is completely different from other guitars. It pursues playability and has great balance.

The current "Fender American Vintage II 1972 Telecaster Thinline" is a vintage-reproduction series, so there are considerable differences in specs. It's not a difference in instrument quality, but rather a matter of tone and specification preference—some may find this model more convenient and easier to use. Since the Elite had a short sales period, few people know about it, and this thinline model is quite worth targeting.
The no-nonsense natural color is also excellent. Highly recommended not only for guitar vocalists but also for those who have never tried a thinline!!
