This time, we have received the "Starplayer Special" in Surf Green color—a solid body model of the flagship "Starplayer" designed for a wider range of users. It is a 2002 model with a weight of 4.07kg.

This is an early example from around the time of the transition to 4-bolt specifications, featuring a 5-digit serial number. This particular unit is a 2-bolt, stop tailpiece model.
It features a traditional set-neck single-cut design, a characteristic 647.7mm long-scale bolt-on maple neck, alder solid body, and rosewood fingerboard.

Equipped with powerful humbuckers "Grand Vintage" and "CrunchBucker," this guitar delivers clear and transparent attack in clean tones, a drive with a slightly fuzzy character, and rich sustain. The controls feature a simple configuration of 1 volume, 1 tone, and 3-way selector. While there is no center click, the uniquely designed "Multi-Tone" feature allows seamless blending between single-coil and humbucker sounds, providing rich sound variations.
