The Fender Special Run "Squier by FSR Vintage Modified Mustang Bass LPB" has arrived in stock. The color is Lake Placid Blue, manufactured in 2012, and weighs 3.56kg. It was purchased new in August 2012.

The "Vintage Modified" is a model where Squier has modernly recreated Fender's "Mustang Bass" from the mid-1960s. Faithful to the original model, it features a 30-inch short scale and 19-fret specification, with a limited edition color.

It features a basswood body with a maple neck, 19-fret maple fingerboard with medium jumbo frets, and a 9.5" radius. Additionally, the pickups have been updated from the original, featuring Seymour Duncan-designed split single-coil pickups for the Mustang.

On the hardware side, it is equipped with a 3-ply pickguard, chrome-finished tuning pegs, and the Mustang-specific bridge.

Among this series, this particular color has almost no information available online, and it is likely that it was sold in small quantities at only some music stores.

The Mustang Bass has a strong, enduring popularity, with many artists including Talking Heads and Go Between's having used it since the past. Please take this opportunity.
