The legendary Martin D-28, the most iconic model of acoustic guitars, has arrived in stock! This is a 1977 model of the classic instrument that has garnered enormous support from world-renowned musicians.

The "D-28" has slight variations in specifications depending on the year of manufacture. This particular unit is from the late 1970s and features a square rod structure. The basic construction is nearly identical to current models, with the characteristic powerful bass and well-balanced harmonic resonance that Martin is known for.

Crafted with a spruce top and rosewood sides/back. This period D-28 features large dot position inlays and Grover pegs. Built with the finest woods and cutting-edge techniques by skilled craftsmen, the D-28 sound is exceptional.

The neck has a slightly narrow nut width of 42.9mm (referred to as "narrow"), with a soft V-shape. The neck is currently straight, and the string action is set slightly high to bring out the character of chord strokes.

This unit has been crowned and adjusted by our shop, with excellent playability.
