FERNANDES LD-115KK (L'Arc-en-Ciel ken Signature MODEL)

A representative model of the 2000s era! The ken signature model "LD-115KK" that supported the mid-period L'Arc~en~Ciel sound has arrived in stock! The weight is 4.08kg. This "LOVE DRIVER" model is the one used in the MVs for "DAYBREAK'S BELL" and "MY HEART DRAWS A DREAM".

This is the original model that became the "Galaxy Red" released by Fender, featuring a red sunburst body with black parts and a cherry-colored anodized pickguard—a very striking appearance. The 12th fret fingerboard features "L'Arc-en-Ciel" lettering and a lion mark.

Light ash body with maple neck and maple 21F fingerboard, equipped with three Fernandes "VS-4" pickups. The bridge features a GOTOH "510TS-SF2", which is excellent for sharp riffs and cutting. Delivers stable pitch during performance.

When played, the sound is different from the "240KK" or "LA-85KK". The bridge influence is probably the biggest factor—the clean and crunch tones are really beautiful. The artist originally had "KINMAN" pickups installed, so just replacing them would give an even more L'Arc-like sound. "VANZANDT" or, to match current Fender, the "Fender Custom Shop FAT '50s Strat" might work well too. You can enjoy a similar vibe for considerably less than purchasing a Fender Custom Shop.

The neck is on the thicker side, but I don't feel any particular difficulty playing it. Among the LD series, this "LD-115KK" appears to have been released after the lyric poem model, so it's probably the last of the Fernandes signatures. So I think relatively few people have one.

While watching footage of the freshly released "UNDERGROUND", enjoy playing L'Arc copies with this one, and make the "35th L'Anniversary TOUR" even more enjoyable!
