Renaissance","description":"ルネッサンスは、元ヤードバーズのボーカリスト、キース・レルフとドラマーのジム・マッカーティによって1969年にイギリスのロンドンで結成された。2人はロック、フォーク、クラシック音楽の要素を融合した新しいサウンドを模索していた。レルフがギタリストとなり、ベースのルイス・シナモ、キーボードのジョン・ホーケン、ボーカリストのジェーン・レルフが加わった。このメンバー構成で、最初のセルフタイトルアルバムと、2枚目のアルバム『イリュージョン』（1971年）の大半をレコーディングした。その後、メンバーが次々と入れ替わった。ギタリスト兼作曲家のマイケル・ダンフォードは『イリュージョン』で初めて登場した。ホーケンは脱退前に、新しいボーカリストとしてアニー・ハスラムを迎えた。1972年、ルネッサンスが3枚目のアルバム『プロローグ』をレコーディングした時には、マッカーティはまだバンドのために作曲をしていたものの、オリジナルメンバーは誰も残っていなかった。1980年までにサリバンとタウトが脱退し、ハスラム、ダンフォード、キャンプがグループの安定した中核となり、1980年代前半から中盤にかけて様々なミュージシャンが入れ替わり立ち替わり参加した。グループは2枚のアルバム『Camera Camera』（1981年）と『Time-Line』（1983年）をリリースしたが、ファンからも批評家からもあまり好評ではなかった。ルネッサンスは次のアルバムをレコーディングするためにスタジオに入ったが、リリースを希望するレーベルが見つからなかった。このアルバムの素材と、以前の3枚のアルバムのセッションでカットされたトラックが、1997年に『Songs From Renaissance Days』としてようやく日の目を見た。ルネッサンスは1987年に解散したが、マイケル・ダンフォードとアニー・ハスラムは1990年代に別のミュージシャンと共にバンドの復活を試みた。ハスラム、ダンフォード、タウト、そしてサリバンは再結成を果たし、2001年にスタジオアルバム『トスカニー』、2002年にはライブアルバム『イン・ザ・ランド・オブ・ザ・ライジング・サン』をリリースした。2009年、ハスラムとダンフォードはルネッサンスを再結成し、40周年記念コンサートツアーを行った。2001-2002年のツアーでジョン・タウトに代わってキーボードを担当していたレイヴ・テザーと、同ツアーでベーシストを務めていたデイヴィッド・J・キーズもバンドに復帰した。また、キーボードのトム・ブリズリンとドラムのフランク・パガーノという2人の新メンバーもラインナップに加わった。2011年のツアーのライブCDとDVDがリリースされ、キーボードはトム・ブリズリンに代わりジェイソン・ハートが担当した。2013年には12年ぶりのスタジオ・アルバム『グランディーヌ・イル・ヴェント』をリリース。これは2012年11月に亡くなったマイケル・ダンフォードが参加した最後のアルバムとなった。","products":[{"product_id":"mionartist-renaissance-4-mionmasterproduct-live-at-carnegie-hall","title":"Master
